O autorze

Jackie Wullschlager is a literary critic and Chief Art Critic for the Financial Times. Her biography of Victorian and Edwardian children's writers, Inventing Wonderland: The Lives and Fantasies of Lewis Carroll, Edward Lear, J. M. Barrie, was published to acclaim in 1996, while her ground-breaking biography of Hans Christian Andersen has won several prizes since its publication in 2000. Her most recent publication is Chagall, which was shortlisted for both the Costa Biography Award and the Duff Cooper Prize. Jackie lives in London with her husband and three children. Tiina Nunnally is an award-winning translator (from Danish, Norwegian and Swedish) and novelist. She was awarded the prestigious PEN Translation Prize in 2001 for her translation of the third volume of Sigrid Undset's Kristin Lavransdatter, and her translations of Hans Christian Andersen and Tove Ditlevsen for Penguin Classics have been widely praised.
